Praise to the Lord!

My first Psalms Journal Entry

“Praise the Lord! For He has heard my cry for mercy.

The Lord is my strength and my shield. I trust Him with all of my heart.

He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”

“You changed my sorrow into dancing.

You took away my clothes of sadness, and clothed me in happiness.

I will sing to You and not be silent. Lord, my God, I will praise You forever.”

“The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock!

Let the God of my salvation be exalted.”

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart

Be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”

Praise the Lord for being an awesome God! He reveals Himself in undeniable ways, always challenging me to give what I hold dearest with peace and knowledge that His ways are far greater than mine!

So responsible and faithful He is! He holds every life in His hands, ready to gently direct it and love more deeply than one can even begin to comprehend!

No longer do I need to feel the pressure to satisfy or please others, for only He can and He is waiting, longing to do just that!

My sweet Savior, Jesus Christ, is my heart’s Protector! Oh, praise to the Lord! Praise to my Lord!
